The Diversity & Inclusion Program Manager position is responsible for assisting in the implementation of global strategy, programs, and initiatives. The position will work cross-functionally to support Diversity & Inclusion goals, communicate initiatives, manage ERGs and events and ensure operational and strategic excellence of the Sterling DSR team. The Diversity & Inclusion Program Manager will also be responsible for tracking and reporting Diversity & Inclusion metrics and progress.

Here Is a Glimpse of What You’ll Do

  • Assist in the implementation of Diversity & Inclusion strategies, programs, and initiatives under the direction of the Chief, Diversity & Social Responsibility Officer

  • Provide thought leadership on timely Diversity & Inclusion topics and the strategic direction of Sterling Diversity & Inclusion

  • Assess business impact of existing programs and recommend improvements

  • Partner with key stakeholders on projects and programs impacting diversity representation and inclusion culture to help drive progress towards key Diversity & Inclusion and culture goals

  • Work cross-functionally with internal partners to create, maintain, and disseminate resources in a variety of formats across all levels of the organization

  • Support effective communication efforts across the organization as it relates to Diversity & Inclusion

  • Track and report Diversity & Inclusion metrics and progress

Here Is Some of What You’ll Need (required)

  • 5+ years of business program management experience – experience developing, delivering, promoting, critically assessing, and continually improving programs for a large organization

  • 1+ years of experience building programs that address the unique needs and experiences of members of underrepresented groups

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent written communications skills and a sharp eye for visual branding and storytelling

  • Excellent verbal communications and interpersonal skills

  • Strong data analytical skills

  • Executive presence, leadership skills, and ability to influence without direct authority

  • High self-motivation to succeed, continually improve and learn and grow

  • High ability to excel in a dynamic workplace and navigate ambiguity

  • Demonstrated cross-cultural competencies, including strong emotional intelligence and the ability to engage and build relationships

  • Proven record of taking initiative/self-starter

  • Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization and work effectively with others

Here Is Some of Our Preferred Experiences

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, or equivalent experience in building Programs

  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 - 7 years of progressive experience in Program Management

  • Proficiency of MS Office, MS Project; Developing and Issuing reports in a visual format; HRIS systems -Workday will be a plus
