About the role:

The People & Culture Generalist will report directly into the People & Culture Leader and support in aligning business objectives with employee and management in designated business units. The position serves as an advisor to management on human resource-related issues. A successful Generalist acts as an employee champion and change agent. The role assesses and anticipates People-related needs. The position formulates partnerships across the P&C function to deliver solutions for management and employees.

Job Description:

  • Provides day to day people support to business units to ensure a positive employee experience

  • Partners with business leaders to understand business and help drive employee engagement and organization alignment

  • Supports in coaching and advise managers on employee relations, performance management, compensation, and compliance.

  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the P&C group to develop solutions, programs and policies

  • Manages and resolves employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations

  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation

  • Develops contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers

  • Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning

  • Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs

  • Facilitates and monitoring of training to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met

  • Coaches and develops a team of HR Generalists

  • Ability to Multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Will develop and implement new ideas to address challenges and opportunities

This Is What We're Looking For:

  • 4+ years of HR Business Partner experience is ideal

  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management strongly preferred, or one to two years of experience in the HR field and any other degree, or any similar combination of education and experience

  • PHR, SPHR or other relevant HR certifications preferred

  • Exceptional client facing abilities
