About the role:
The People & Culture Generalist will report directly into the People & Culture Leader and support in aligning business objectives with employee and management in designated business units. The position serves as an advisor to management on human resource-related issues. A successful Generalist acts as an employee champion and change agent. The role assesses and anticipates People-related needs. The position formulates partnerships across the P&C function to deliver solutions for management and employees.
Job Description:
Provides day to day people support to business units to ensure a positive employee experience
Partners with business leaders to understand business and help drive employee engagement and organization alignment
Supports in coaching and advise managers on employee relations, performance management, compensation, and compliance.
Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the P&C group to develop solutions, programs and policies
Manages and resolves employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations
Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation
Develops contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers
Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning
Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs
Facilitates and monitoring of training to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met
Coaches and develops a team of HR Generalists
Ability to Multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Will develop and implement new ideas to address challenges and opportunities
This Is What We're Looking For:
4+ years of HR Business Partner experience is ideal
Bachelor's degree in human resource management strongly preferred, or one to two years of experience in the HR field and any other degree, or any similar combination of education and experience
PHR, SPHR or other relevant HR certifications preferred
Exceptional client facing abilities
